We are an interdisciplinary team which includes a counseling staff supervised by Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Counseling services are also available in Spanish and Portuguese.
Elie De Franca, LCADC, LCSW

Elie has worked with the addicted population as well as co-dependents for over a decade. Clinical Social Workers are trained differently than other mental health professionals. Elie follows a comprehensive approach: To look at a person in the surrounding environment, to see a person in the context of family, school, job, and community (and to evaluate the impact of these relationships), and to focus on the person's strengths as well as see the difficulties.
Elie has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Rutgers in NJ. He brings 10+ years of experience treating recovering adults, adolescents, and their families from addiction and emotional problems as a licensed addiction professional and a licensed clinical social worker. Elie excels at helping clients "peel the layers of emotional baggage" that has been built up for years and takes pleasure in joining with the client in achieving personal goals. He brings passion, skill and experience to those affected by addiction and emotional disorders.
Dorys Murillo, LCADC, LSW, MSW.
Program Supervisor- Counselor
Dorys has a Master's Degree in Social Work from Monmouth University, LSW and LCADC in NJ. She worked as a social worker for Ridlen Consulting, Inc. for several years where she thoroughly enjoyed working with disadvantaged children and families. Moving on to West Hudson Family Success Center in Kearny, Dorys had the opportunity to facilitate parenting classes and coordinate family activities. Dorys then worked in a methadone clinic and completed her internship at the Inter-County Council on Drug and Alcohol abuse.
Brielle Kotowski, LAC.
Brielle has received a Master’s Degree in Mental Health counseling from Monmouth University. Over the course of her studies she realized her passion in counseling was in the field of addictions. Brielle has worked with groups as well as individuals over the course of her time as a counselor. Brielle has experience with adolescence as well as adults who are struggling with coping with triggers and cravings during recovery. Brielle’s desire for assisting clients in getting on the road to recovery is her motivation when working with her group and individual clients.
Christina Inyang, LSW, MSW
Christina’s greatest reward as a counselor is helping her clients heal, recover, explore or address any areas of concern that presents as a road block in their lives. She does so by gaining an in-depth understanding of each individual client’s unique presenting need.
Christina earned a Master’s of Social Work degree from Rutgers University with an emphasis in Children Youth and Families services. She is a NJ Licensed Social Worker working towards her LCSW and LCADC. She has worked with a diverse range of clients who have experienced loss, post-partum depression, depression, anger management issues, stress and anxiety, amongst other concerns. She has worked in different settings including outpatient, private practice and a school setting.
Christina approaches psychotherapy holistically from a non-judgmental, emphatic and strengths based perspective. She utilizes psycho-education and integrates principles of interpersonal, cognitive behavioral, and solution-focused therapies. Christina desires for her clients to have healthy perceptions of themselves as well as healthy relationships with others. Through a collaborative effort with her clients, Christina will provide a warm and safe environment to explore those areas of concerns that are barriers to living the life they truly desire. Christina prides herself in being a life-long learner and continues to educate herself in the field of Clinical Social Work.
Deidre Hickman, LCADC, NCC, LAC
Deidre earned her Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health from Montclair State University CACREP accredited program. This rigorous education enabled Deidre to enter the workforce ready to work with all members of the community whom are affected by mental health issues, as well as substance use disorders. She is a Licensed Associate Counselor in the state of New Jersey working towards her LPC and LCADC. Deidre has worked with diverse populations, ranging from adolescences with intellectual and developmental disabilities to adults with co-occurring disabilities.
Deidre is well versed in a variety of counseling techniques, using Motivational Interviewing and Cognitive Behavioral techniques to help clients highlight their ability to change harmful behaviors and reconstruct their thinking and emption process. Through individual counseling sessions, running weekly substance abuse groups, performing assessments and intakes, and developing and implementing treatment plans, Deidre’s work has assisted clients in making the most of the resources offered by the agency to prepare them to succeed on their own once services have terminated.
